In case you encounter any emergencies, these hotlines will come in handy. 112 can be dialed to report any issues and the operator will direct you to the service that you need, but knowing the direct number to call will ensure help arrives faster, especially where time is critical.
The 911 equivalent in Italy is 113. This number connects you to the state police who can assist you in an emergency. The roads in Milan are some of the most congested in the country, which is why driving in the city’s center is not recommended. The good news is that with the city’s great metro and tram system, you don’t need a car to get around and find cheap rooms for rent in Milan.
